JP Snyman’s relationship with the Cape Floral Kingdom began at harvest level, hands in soil, understanding the biological rhythms of proteas and fynbos long before he understood the logistics of getting them to Frankfurt or Tokyo. That ground-up perspective, built across more than 30 years in the industry, is the foundation of everything Snyman Flora does.
JP does not approach export as a trader. He approaches it as someone who understands what it takes to grow South African Proteas and Cape Flora to export standard, what happens to it in transit, and what an international importer needs it to look like when it arrives. That full-chain knowledge is rare. It is what defines the Snyman Flora standard.

The company
Founded in 2008, Snyman Flora has grown from a specialist protea exporter into a globally recognised Cape flora export partner, serving wholesalers, importers, and distributors across four continents.
Our reputation is built on three commitments: the transparency to tell clients what is available and when; the accountability to deliver what we promise; and the logistics capability to move highly perishable, high-value goods at scale without compromise.
Our head office and operations hub is located at Cape Town International Airport; positioned deliberately for proximity to every outbound flight, every cold chain transition, and every customs process that stands between a Cape farm and a global market.
